Blog Day 1

Well, I've decided to give this blog thing a try - perhaps getting thoughts out on a virtual diary will assist with the clarity I've long been seeking. Really, I think this might be the easiest way to keep a log of what the boys have been doing since their baby website has long gone by the wayside. They're going to look back and wonder when they first walked, talked and threw their first temper tantrum and I'm going to have to say.....hmmmm.....that's a fantastic question.

Jack, you were walking at 9 months, didn't talk for awhile and the first tantrum I vividly remember is the one where I carried you kicking and screaming out of "Old McDonalds" and vowed never to take you back. I know you remember it as well because I heard you telling Carter about it the other day. Carter, you didn't walk until you were about 15-16 months old, couldn't talk because Jack wouldn't let you get a word in edgewise and I don't have any temper tantrum moments that stick out. Now, don't think you don't have any, I'm sure I'll think of some.

I've recently uprooted the family to West Chester, PA from our home in Greenville, NC. Here's hoping that all those years in school have finally paid off and I've finally got that "big girl job" that I've been talking about for the past 15 or so years. Both the boys seem to really be excelling in school and enjoying their time at St. Agnes. Right now, Jack is into making books and Carter likes telling us about the letters he's learning about. They're both playing floor hockey, Jack really likes making crafts and Carter is addicted to our new Wii. Matt is doing a fantastic job of managing everything at home, better than I could do for sure!

Since Matt and the boys are in the 'burg today and tomorrow I should get back to work. We'll see how this works out!
